Miniature golf, putting greens, bocce ball, croquet, lawn bowling, and toddler golf, all by Adventure Golf Services are now in use by a variety of cruise ship companies including Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Oceania and others.

Adventure Golf Services has introduced a modular system that replaces old style miniature golf products on cruise ships. “This system provides a solid playing surface that emulates real playing conditions and will not require extensive and costly refurbishment; as has been required in older style courses onboard cruise ships,” comments company president Arne Lundmark.

“The problem with the older style course and game construction is that they mostly employ a Polystyrene base and have a hard chemical coat with the turf being glued-on to that surface. As guests walk on the surface the hard coat bends and compresses the foam below. Through time, the hard coat cracks allowing water to seep in which, at that point, destroys the integrity of the course preventing it from looking beautiful and from being in top-playing condition - as is required by the Cruise Line industry.

“All those problems are eliminated with our patented system making for a long term investment that is good for the owner as well as the guest” states Lundmark.
