Create an Adventure for Your Miniature Golf Course Miniature golf projects begin with a great custom design, matched to the owner's budget, and to the market potential. We at Adventure Golf believe miniature golf is a very personal business where the owner has a vision of what he wishes to build. We listen and then embellish those ideas, offer advice, and design a course that is an adventure creative, imaginative, whimsical and fun, but within budget. Arne Lundmark believes that miniature golf is at its greatest if it starts with fun, embellishes with a generous landscape plan with topographical interest, and introduces themed scenes, special effects and interactive golf features to help the story line. "I believe we have gone back to the future", comments Lundmark. "In the 50's and 60's courses were interesting to look at with their larger than life caricature type themed elements. These courses provided fun such as shooting through a windmill or a clown face and the family enjoyed and remembered the experience. “Then in the 1980s we helped launch the trend toward adventure style and landscape courses. Now we are seeing more of the fun of the 50’s and 60’s introduced into miniature golf courses creating a more interesting golf course that is more fun to play. We still build mountain style courses and lush landscape courses but whenever budget permits, or the owner agrees we create more show. “When I design your course, I ask myself these questions, ‘Where is the show, and how can I make this course more fun?’ We are always looking for more ways to put the ball through, over, around, or under obstacles and other parts of the golf hole. We like sound and other special effects. We try to create as many ways to get to the hole cup as possible and we like it when the ball changes course or goes into an unexpected hazard or direction. All this is done while still giving players an opportunity for a hole in one.” If you want your new miniature golf course to be a landscape course, a themed course, or an adventure style course, or some combination of all three your design is in good hands. Arne has designed hundreds of custom courses, each with its own personality and fun factor and not a carbon copy of another course. Arne has been designing ADA compliant courses for more than 10 years and will be sure your course meets future needs.
